Jim and Leslie McCullough can retire with confidence because of the extra income AdvoCare has provided.
For 30 years, Dr. Jim McCullough worked as a physician and Leslie worked as a dental hygienist before becoming a stay-at-home mom of six. Together they planned for their future, but realized how quickly retirement funds can disappear and how dramatically home values can plummet. Like many other baby boomers, it was that wake-up call which led to a search to find a new way to earn income – not strictly based on trading hours for dollars.
“AdvoCare came into our lives in June 2011 when our college-age-son brought home a small brochure from his basketball camp,” Leslie said. “I learned about the integrity of the company, the quality of the products, and the success other Independent Distributors right in our own area experienced and I had to know more.” In the next few days, they enrolled three of their adult kids as AdvoCare Independent Distributors. After hard work and dedication, eventually all of them reached the Advisor level. Their “family business” was born.
But sadly, soon after that, their 17-year-old son passed away, and it took a toll on Jim and Leslie both emotionally and financially. Left with a large amount of medical debt from their son’s illness, they turned to the AdvoCare business they had started for support.
“Throughout that difficult time, seeds were being planted along the way as we shared AdvoCare, and little sprouts of success started springing up during our time of need,” Leslie said. Jim responded, “Hand in hand with an amazing team, we are writing a new chapter in our life story. As we enter our seventh decade of life, we believe AdvoCare provides solid answers for our physical and financial needs.”
